The Chairman, Medical Advisory Committee (CMAC) at the University of Calabar Teaching Hospital (UCTH) is a key figure in ensuring the hospital’s commitment to clinical excellence and innovative healthcare delivery. Tasked with providing strategic medical advice, the CMAC oversees the development and implementation of healthcare policies, coordinates clinical services across departments, and ensures adherence to the highest standards of patient care and medical ethics. By fostering collaboration among healthcare professionals and integrating modern medical practices, the CMAC plays a pivotal role in maintaining UCTH's reputation as a leader in medical education, patient care, and research. Additionally, the CMAC is responsible for ensuring compliance with national healthcare regulations, helping UCTH achieve its mission of delivering exceptional medical services while training future healthcare professionals and advancing community health initiatives.
